A few weeks ago, I had the honor of attending an event at The Skin Spa & Boutique, hosted by fellow Blogger, Samantha Ruble of the fabulous blog Go French Yourself.
Alongside other bloggers and influencers, I was treated to a hand & foot massage, Reiki session, and aura reading. We sipped on drinks and enjoyed delicious hors d’oeurves as we learned more about all of the incredible treatments they offer. So devine!
Located in the heart of midtown-Tulsa, near 15th and Harvard, The Skin Spa & Boutique offers a variety of exciting services to help improve overall wellness and achieve a state of zen.
The interior of the Spa is beautifully decorated with shades of green and pink, rich textures, and plants–an environment that instantly calms you from the moment you walk in the door. If you’re in the mood for a little shopping, they have a curated selection of skincare, wellness products, crystals, & jewelry to peruse before or after your treatment–plenty of cool gift ideas (hello, holidays!).
When you hear “spa” you may think of massage, but The Skin Spa & Boutique also has a list of Ayurvedic body treatments such as Shirodhara (pouring of oil on the third eye), Marma massage (manipulation of the 107 energy points within the body), Nasya (oiling of the nostrils, helpful with allergies & sinus issues), and Basti (the use of dough & oil to increase circulation). Qualified Ayurvedic practitioners are a rarity in Tulsa, so having these treatments available here is quite special and unique.
If you’re skin is needing a little TLC, they offer dermaplaning, custom facials, waxing and nano-needling to keep your skin looking and feeling its best. As we transition into cooler weather (yay!), it’s important to reevaluate your skin needs, especially after the negative effects of the summer sun!
Lastly, they offer Reiki Energy Work, which helps connect the energy pathways of the body to promote balance and harmony. As mentioned earlier, I partook in a Reiki session as well as an aura reading at the event and was completely amazed and impressed with their Reiki Master, Kristi. (Fun Fact: My aura color–muted violet–was part of the inspiration for this blog!)
If you’re in the Tulsa area, I highly recommend visiting The Skin Spa & Boutique for their services; you will leave feeling happy, relaxed and refreshed, plus you’ll be supporting a local business. <3
*A huge thank-you to Sam and The Skin Spa & Boutique for inviting me to this event. They also have a Tahlequah location for those that don’t live in the Tulsa-area.*
